I am not sure why in this game you can keep moving while knocked down. If you knock someone down they should stay in place till they get back up in a second. I know it does not sound like to big a deal but when you are trying to keep someone from getting to a cloud platform so they cant fly off and leave you in combat it turns into a problem. With all the escaping, evacing, cliff diving, and other things people do to avoid pvp on these servers it is amazing anybody gets any kills besides ganking. Just wondering if anyone else sees this as a problem or is it just a tank problem and tanks should not complain because we are so overpowered already.

It doesn't seem like getting knocked down should be the equivalent to getting rooted or snared. Its purpose is to throw you off your feet, and to move you in some direction against your will. I hate comparing the game to real life... but I guess I'll succumb. If someone's running along and you are chasing them, and you smash them in the back with a shield, they're going to tumble forward and then keep running. They're not going to get hit, drop straight down, get up, dust themselves off, and then start running again. I suppose one complaint would be that when I circle around my swashy, and she is running the people right into me, when I shield bash them, I'd like to see them knocked the other way. That might make sense. Anyway, as a tank, let me give you a hint on a pretty effective way of stopping runners: (Become a tinkerer).
i think you move when you get knocked down when you have stun immunity up but are still blured and knocked down? i think

Like Tesar said - when chasing someone and you use a knockdown it knocks them away from you which is the same direction they are running. With the short duration of knockdowns in pvp this really isn't slowing them down since the one second they spend stunned from knockdown they are pushed ahead of you anyway then continue running.

I thought every knockdown ability is a stun as well?
