Just recently I formed a guild on A.B Roleplay server called the Ebon Hand and I have 3 to 4 guild recruiters but yet not once have we been listed on the Guild Recruit Page at all.. Other guilds ive noticed some have just got on and bam they are on guild recruit page..

How is this possible and why is it guild got 200 +memebers need to be hogging the guild recruit page as it is? it seems biased toward smaller guilds who want to grow too and be just as good as the bigger guilds..

Is there some step I am missing seems ive filled in all the blanks for the guild recruitment page ect ect.. I have talked to a g.m and informed me I can only get on guild page when server goes down and they reset witch I believe to be absurd if that is the case how does a guild get on when they just log on as oppossed to our guild who has been on long before them..

blacmoon,

The same thing occurs on my server. The same guilds are listed daily and all are huge guilds or raid guilds. This forces the smaller guilds to run adds in chat channels in an attempt to recruit new members and there is always someone that will slam you for utilizing the chat channel to get new members. It's a no win situation lol. The rich just get richer and bigger while the smaller guilds just dwindle away one member at a time to larger or raid guilds.

I've noticed that as well. Our guild is pretty well established, but relatively small. Not being an officer, I cannot say if it is not listed because the officers choose not to list it, or what, but I agree that I see many many different names for guilds that I have never seen on the recruitment pages. I see always the same (15?) listed every single day. Not sure why that is.. It should really be fixed..maybe rotated daily or something. Makes it really hard for the younger guilds to get more recruits. Something that might help. My guild seems to recruit through grouping with various people. Meet a player you think is a good fit, reccommend the guild to them (wouldn't dream of shoving the invite down their throats) but say, ya know, my guild could use someone like you if you're interested.. Seems to work relatively well.. but it still stinks that more variety is not given and the smaller guilds don't seem to get the air time they deserve.
