Pre-GU36 Mage PvP vid

<p>You'll be pleased to know that resists SEEM to be going the way of the dinosaur. Been playing on test a bit, and I think I've seen a total of 4 resists... the whole time I've been playing there. </p><p>The resists *SEEM* to mitigating damage only, rather than giving people insane resist rates. Instead of my Perfect Shrill being resisted 4 out of 5 times, it's landing all 5 times, but for less than half the listed damage. I can live with that, atleast I'm doing SOME damage, rather than just seeing RESISTED scroll by 40 times a fight. (Disruption is at 426 self buffed ATM. still getting resists out the wahzoo!)</p><p>***DISCLAIMER***</p><p>I am not saying that this IS how resists are working atm on test, however this is what my experiences there have lead me to beleive. <p>Good vid, here is what I gathered.</p><p>The resist rate was not even close to 50%. It was way lower. If they lower resists, your going to be loving it...</p><p>Tip for killing Coercers... Dont attack them while their reactives are up. Dots are better to use.</p><p>Cures are a must or prevent them from getting the reactives on you (good luck with that one).</p><p>Resists are the only real way to beat a Coercer unless you gank them.</p><p>Mez, reactives ftw. Rinse, repeat.</p>

All 4 of you. There is absolutely no reason to fight you atm. 1 on 1 I'd destroy you, but then I'm 12 levels higher than you, so you get to [Removed for Content] at me for killing greys. Or I could fight your whole group, and then get told how much of a n00b I am for losing to greys!! No thanks!</p><p>BTW: Troubs don't do well against groups, I see no reason to let you kill me, I would have got nothing out of that fight. If your group had have been 62 or higher I would have stuck around. I dont mind getting killed if I'm going to get something out of the death. (Tokens > fame) Since you appear to have chosen to stay locked where i get nothing from killing you, you have also chosen to have me evac everytime i see your group. I'm not going to waste my time, or give you the chance to kill me with your grey-zerg. lvl-up plzkthnxbai!</p><p>On the bright side, I found Keili (70 ranger) on the docks when i evaced and scored my 250th token for my legs. I'd have you on track, then gone, have you again, and then gone. Though I've suspected tracking in SS is either shorter range, or haywire for awhile now.</p><p>I really wish there was a lot more people to fight though.. We've run around for hours and not a soul to fight, so we pick on every single level 70 or sometimes two at a time. I do hope the expansion gives enough freep love so that more flock that way giving us more people to fight. However we did get in a fight near Undercity with another full group against the four of us that lasted so long that both our druids and theirs ran out of power before anyone died.. Lucky for us, we won but [Removed for Content] I wish those guys had stayed around. We were looking for another fight against them.</p>
