Hello, I've have been playing EQ2 since a couple months after launch. This just started happening a couple weeks ago... It seems that I zone crash almost all the time (especially right when I login). Today I logged into Haven..went to Nek..crashed...relogged...got onto the spires for Barren Sky..crashed...relogged...went to Bonemire..crash...relog..etc...etc.. After I'm logged in for a good bit and crash into a few zones I stop though. I'm running profitUI (newest version) and I havn't made any changes to my comp recently. Any idea what the problem could be? Already tried file scan, turning off firewalls/virus scanner. No help. Please help! Thanks.

You could try deleting the 'cache' directory in the install directory.

Exactly,

Goto Program Files/Sony/Everquest 2

Highlight the Cache Folder and delete it..... yup the whole folder

Return to the launchpad and run a full file scan.

I'd suggest that try to delete the eqclient.ini, eqgfx_dx8.dll, eqgraphicsdx9.dll, eqmain.dll, eqgame.exe, and the UI Files folder from your EverQuest directory. One or more of those files may be corrupt, causing these issues. To do this please follow these directions: 1. First look for your EverQuest directory. You can find your EverQuest Directory in these 2 likely locations: A. Click on MY COMPUTERC:DRIVEPROGRAM FILESSONYEVERQUEST B. Click on MY COMPUTERC:DRIVEPROGRAM FILESEVERQUEST 2. Next look for the UI Files folder and the files eqclient.ini, eqgfx_dx8.dll, eqmain.dll, and eqgame.exe, and delete them from your EQ directory. 3. Afterwards, please start EverQuest to have these files recreated by the patcher. In case the issue still persists please post your system information as specified on this link.
