I think there is a Kid you rescure from a couple of thugs in the New Foreign Quarter, I think he starts you on the path of the Honorable Dark Elf Monk from Neriak.

Hehe My dark elf went through the old Freeport Betrayal Quest having to kill 500 Gnolls and some named Gnolls.

I eventually gave her the sirname Sundancer just to thumb her nose at all of the Evil Dark Elves. She's my second Monk and my Carpenter!

The freeport to qeynos betrayal starts at the inn of east freeport docks, theres an NPC there on the bottom floor who'll send you on your way. Once you've been booted it's just a matter of building up some faction with qeynos via some tedious quests from an npc not far from the two towers just outside the FP gates in the commonlands.

Eq2i has a complete guide, if they ever get the site back up (down for 2 days at time of posting).

Currently the best char I've put together.

ALL brawlers are working on getting fixed...aka...bruisers will still own all monks and their pansy lightning fast slaps of annoyance.

I have an Ogre bruiser in Neriak, and some day I will betray just to see the ogre with Monk animations. It just has to be uber cool.

Having said that, the brutish pounding animations for the bruiser fits the ogre pretty nicely. Its not beautiful, but it gets the job done.

Having played both at L70............coverting to Monk is about as smart a move as emigrating to the Third World.
