Lag in Neriak

I have recently been having lag problems with the introduction of Neriak. I know this is a computer side issue, so I was wondering what component would be the most beneficial to upgrade on my computer (I'm not a computer guru, heh); the most bang for my buck so to speak. I know my computer isn't great, but here are the specs that would be relevant: Video Card: RADEON X800 Series Processor: Intel(R) Pentium(R) D CPU 2.80GHz (2 CPUs) RAM: 1022MB RAM

Neriak is just laggy, it has memory issues still that need to be fixed so id hold off on the upgrade just for that zone. Your system is pretty much identical to my old one that ran the game fine except i had 2gb ram so thats the main upgrade id go for now and maybe the Graphics card if you can stretch to it.

I'd suggest that try running your system under a clean boot as this will prevent any hidden programs from loading.   To disable background programs:   1. Select the START button. 2. Select RUN. 3. Type in "msconfig" [without the "] 4. Press OK 5. Select the STARTUP tab. 6. In the list, uncheck all boxes EXCEPT for SCANREGISTRY and SYSTEM TRAY. If you use WindowsXP, please note that SCANREGISTRY and SYSTEM TRAY will not be listed - just uncheck the entire list. 7. Hit apply and then OK.
