at level 19-20 i'm at 28 AA and I had to totally scrip and work hard to get there. Combat xp was shut off at 10 and I've used xp debt for about 95% of the time. I also tried to work pretty hard to only do lower level quests, which was a godawful amount of running around too.

so with a serious effort _and_ xp debt I'm not even bumping into the 1.5 AA limit yet. without xp debt I find it hard to imagine that I would even get close to it.

so the upcomming AA limit doesn't appear all that meaningful to new chars, is it?

also --- what about mentoring? if a level 70 with 100AA mentors a level 10 are 85 of his/her AA somehow inactivated?

There are extreme cases where there are people low level with an extraordinary amount of AA, I knew someone who was level 25 with over 50 AA. Not sure about mentoring but I don't think it would apply the rule to them since they can't fight in PvP mentored anyway.

There are numerous factors present when it comes to getting lots of AA at a low level and I'm not going to reveal them all to you because if this 1.5 limit and debt removal don't actually get implemented, which I really hope is the case, then it's all part of the strategy players had to find out on their own. I have a level 24 shadowknight with 48 AA, I know of at least 3 characters that have had 50+ at 25, and I know that anyone can reach that ratio if they do it correctly - it does however, take a lot of time. the 1.5 per level does matter, and removing debt does make it MUCH harder to get lots of AA per lvl. I really hope these changes don't get implemented as it will waste hundreds of hours invested by certain players and ruin character development at lower tiers - not everyone wants to be a level 70 and it's just gonna make more ppl quit if they limit and 9 months after-the-fact nerf characters in the manner they are currently considering.

Ever. For 99% of players it will make little difference, for 80%+ no difference at all.

Isnt it best?

Ypu can hit the AA cap completely without debting. I know I have on my inquisitor. and no, I dint exploit any wierd quests. didnt even suicide turin the L&L, language or book quests. If I had, I would prolly be sitting on 5-10 aas more.

There are currently no quest exploits... the only one i have ever known of was the candy cane game and that lasted for 2 weeks back at christmas. the people who quest and get AA's do not exploit...

I think my post said something else than what you think it said or you have a typo there somewhere... And tbh, if you try, you can fairly easily gain 2 aas / level after lvl 20. And at lvl 10, you can have 5 aas fairly easily as soon as you hit 10...
