<div align="left"> The dark shadow of the Nerian castle falls upon me as I glide up to it. My wings, fluttering in the still air of Neriak, start to beat faster as I pull on the large doors that separate the castle grounds from the, as the Queen called them, commoner's grounds. I gulp and glide in. The guards, recognizing me as a citizen of Neriak, give a friendly nod to me as I pass by them. However, as I come up to the entrance to the Queen's chambers, a guard blocks my way. <div align="left"> <div align="left"> "You there, Fae. You aren't allowed to see the Queen. You haven't... proven yourself to be completely loyal to her. To be allowed to see her, you must... do something for her," he says. My glowing eyes scrunch up in confusion, and the guard sees the look on my face. <div align="left"> <div align="left"> "Remember when you gave your spirit bloom to the clerk during the citizenship process?" he asks. I nod slightly. "Well... the Queen wants you to go gather five bloodwine roots from the tunnels here. Is that understood?" he slowly asks. I nod and glide to the tunnels. <div align="left"> <div align="left"> I return two hours later, sweating, as a vampire had attacked me during my fifth bloodwine root. The guard smiles as I give them to him. He reaches into his pocket (wow, there were pockets in that red... dress...) and pulls out a mushroom. He steps aside and beckons me to the Queen. <div align="left"> <div align="left"> Queen Cristanos studies me carefully. Her dark eyes seem to look through me as I look at her. <div align="left"> <div align="left"> "Come with me," she says. I give a small bow and start to follow her through a door previously unseen. We walk into a small room, where there is a small holder of some sort, connected to a table with what looks like a case. The holder is also connected to a series of wires, and the wires lead out of the room. A male Teir'Dal comes up to me and grabs my arms.</div> </div> "Do not resist. It is for the best," he says. My eyes suddenly grow wide with fear as I recognize the case for what it is: a cocoon, designed to hold Fae.</div> </div> "No, you can't do this!" I shout. I struggle against his tight grip, but a female strides up and injects something in my arm. My muscles suddenly go limp, and no matter how I try to move them, I can't. The male picks me up and puts me in the cocoon. I see someone take what looks like... my spirit bloom! They put it in the small holder and all three of them walk out of the room. I hear some mechanics moving in the other room, and the cocoon starts to close. The injection that the female gave me is starting to wear off, so I struggle to get out. But it is futile. The cocoon closes on me, and all is dark. I start to sweat, and wonder what will happen to me. I hear footsteps come back in, and words of magic sing in my ears.</div> </div> Hours pass.</div> </div> My cocoon is opened, and I see the smiling face of the Queen look upon me.</div> </div> "Perfect..." I burst out of my cocoon and flex my new body.</div> I like it.
