Request to Allow Visitors to Browse Market Board

<p><span style="color: #3333ff">To save coin, I travel a great deal to different suburbs of Qeynos so as to buy directly from many different merchants.  </span></p><p><span style="color: #3333ff">While perusing their goods, sometimes I see an item that might be of value to me.  The only problem is that I am not sure if the seller has tagged it at a reasonable price, and although there is a Merchant Board clearly visible, I am not permitted as a "visitor" to use it to compare the price of his item against the prices of his competitors.</span></p><p><b><span style="color: #3333ff">Please allow all visiting customers to access the seller's Merchant Board so as to compare prices and check on item availability.</span></b></p><p><span style="color: #3333ff">Thank you for your time and consideration!</span></p>

<p>Long ago, we used to be able to browse from market boards in other people's homes. Commonly, these other people's homes were other merchants that we were visiting to buy something from and wanted to use the market board to get a price check. Perhaps the only thing that changed was the default permissions on a home. Originally, I believe they were "friend" but people could come into your house and move furniture around, among other acts of vandalism, so they changed it to "visitor."</p>

I wouldn't exactly want people standing around my house all day using my market board. The option is there for people to let you use theirs if they so choose.

<p>I agree with the OP too. It's a hassle to have to zone out of their house, go to a broker (which requires another zone if they're in a town, because you have to go to the crafting instance), check athe price, then go all the way back to the original house.</p><p>While we're on the subject of brokering from houses, I also wish we could buy from our market boards. <img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> I'm sure there are problems that could arise from that, but it'd relieve congestion at the brokers.</p>

Brokering definately needs an overhaul. I browse the market and write down the houses i want to go to buy from the save gold avoiding the broker fee. It should be easier than it currently is.

<p>Yes, I too would be interested in an answer to why they removed the ability to BUY from our own boards, in our own homes.  This has been a big reason that I dont craft in home anymore.  The minute I run out of a raw...or decide to build something I hadnt intended... I have to zone about 3 times to get somewhere to get it...then rezone back.</p><p>Buying from board IN-Home and browsing else where would be nice. Please return these features or at least offer a reason that you cant.</p>
