<p>A Question for the PvP Scouts...</p><p>When your in pvp how much of the DPS (provided that your CAs are up) does your wepon provide using auto attack? Somthing to keep in mind is that I do not use auto face, so the dps of autoattack is lowered.</p><p>To put this in context im thinking about using a sheild for extra defence and a nice stun proc (Ferox Stony Wing), but im concerned about the loss of procs and extra damage from my secondary duel weild wepon.</p><p>Im wondering how much exactly auto attack affects the damage output between burning CAs?</p>

Enough to burn down a clothy, and will make a signifigant difference between using good weapons and [Removed for Content] weapons, but its not that overwhelming. I use a treasured rounsheild and a sword of embers and do a lot better than i did with dw...

Hm i use sword (dagger) and shield style with my assassin, but while it might be more helpfull against other scouts or tanks, i have problems to kill good equiped healers (read druids <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />).  So i suggest to switch to dual wield while fighting anything that casts (i am to lazy  <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> ) Lucky proc from offhand weapon (fear, stiffle or some high damage proc) can give you that little time or damage you need to finish them...

dual wielding parses about 27% of my damage in overall raid. next closest ca parses about 8%. dual wielding its very good for fighting clothies and if ur using the new macros this switching back and forth is easy as one button. as for using a shield its not that bad of an idea vs some classes like tanks. SOULHUNTER p.s. lol turn ur auto face back on and max ur turn rates. ive tested it out and trust me u lose alot of dps when u have it turned off.

I have just read the AA changes on test server.... FINALLY SOE.... Finally can i take that [I cannot control my vocabulary] STA line instead of STR <img src="/smilies/e8a506dc4ad763aca51bec4ca7dc8560.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> (if you remove that weapon restriction i will be even happier <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> )
