I have a few basic questions which I can't seem to find anywhere else. 1. What are the benefits of upgrading personae skills? Do Adept III ones do more damage than Apprentice Is? 2. Can the personae twin cast any spell I have, if so, is it reduced any bit? 3. I've seen named personaes, how do I name my twin? Thanks for any help!

Hey, new Illusionist here also. Can't give a definate answer to questions 1 and 2. For question one if the pets are anything like the conjy necro types then yes they should get better with spell upgrades. Maybe do a little more damage, get mor hp and mp or what not. For question 2, I do know that they use some of the same spells such as the group aoe storm of colors, the single target stun confusion etc.... those are just the base spells, it will of course use the upgrades when your lvl gains them. For questions 3 to name your pet use this command /petname (Example: /petname Rover) then your next summoned pets name would be Rover.

As you level up and gain different versions of the personae, it gains additional spells that it can cast. By the time you get the level 62 personae, it will cast your nuke, daze, stun, encounter stun, root, and ae stifle (the ae stifle is a level 50/70 spell). The name of the spell it casts at any level uses the same name as the first spell you get in that line. So for example, for your primary nuke, the pet's nuke will always come up as "Phantasmal Shock" even if your nuke has been replaced several times already. Though its actual damage will only be slightly less than yours. Also, its stuns and other crowd control spells will last for a slightly shorter duration than yours do.

3. /petname YourPetsNameGoesHere

What are the benefits of upgrading personae skills? Do Adept III ones do more damage than Apprentice Is? What happens is this. Your pet does get more hp/mp and less resists like a poster says. Extending the more dmg part further. Your pet casts its spells at the lvl of the spell. SO if it is app 1 then all the spells it casts act like app 1's with their higher resistability and lower dmg. That being so the adept 3 version casts spells as if they were all adept 3. This is the cause of less resistability and higher dmg portion to it. 2. Can the personae twin cast any spell I have, if so, is it reduced any bit? It casts spells you have but not ALL the spells you have. As the poster above said it gains more spells as you get new personae's. At the start i think it is just stun root and nuke (if that i really dont remember). End one is: Stun, Root, Nuke, Nuke/Daze, Group Stun, Stifle, Group Dot/Stifle. Note that your pets dot DOES NOT break mez (unlike yours would). As it lvls up the duration of the stun root daze and stifle effects increase similar to your spells increasing in duration basically. If you time it right with your pet (not an easy thing to do) you can stun lock a monster for almost 30 seconds (about 27 or so). It would be longer but your pet doesnt let stun wear down befor it casts daze then stifle but still a smart pet. 3. I've seen named personaes, how do I name my twin? Like all pets you name it with /petname. The constructs dont receive this name however they just remain "Construct of ...." Thanks for any help!

Thanks for the warm welcome and help guys. I have two more questions though 1. If I have invisibility casted on myself, can scouts see me? What about warriors? 2. Does the "Detect Invisibility" buff show scout's stealth?
