k, well bottom line is i'm a returning EQ1 player getting into EQ2, and just curious as to a good server to join

i dont know if anything like it exists, since all the servers seem to have been created long ago, but is there anything left where it's not too developed, alot of lower levels, and just a good scenario for a new player to have a good time?

Antonia Bayle its an RP server but that shouldnt stop you. Great pop top to bottom. Get in a good guild and you will be fine.

I rolled on Mistmoore was going to go to AB but I decided I am not a huge role player and it would be best to not offend some people. I respect people who roleplay but just would rather not have to worry about making other people mad.

Well if you do not mind pvp Nagafen is the best server to roll on as it has by far the most active population.

If you dislike pvp then Antonia Bayle is probably one of the best to roll on.

AB is the only server i play on (except Test). People are really friendly there and fun to talk to. You don't usually run into any jerks, but sometimes you find people who are a little weird lol. All in all it's the perfect place to enjoy the game at your own pace and make some life friends.

Yeah you are not required to RP on AB but its nice to respect the people who do...its got a nice population, nice people, and plenty of lower levels if you play at the right times. If you wanna join a guild PM me and ill give you the link...i dont think people want me linking my guild's site publicly And hey...you might even pick up a tiny bit of RP from AB like i did!

Unquestionably, the Test server. It wasn't around when I started, back in the original beta, and I have too many characters on live to ever walk away so I play both. The comparisons are easy to make. Test has a small, totally supportive community of mostly adults so very little leet talk and NO plat tells. XP is higher so you level faster. Never a problem with harvesting or getting that named you need.

If I had it to do over again Test would be my only server. It's what all the servers should be like but aren't.

If you do decide to give the Test Server a go. After you roll a toon type /join test that is the general channel that everyone talks in. Also it would help you a lot to announce yourself to the community. A general, "Hi, I'm new lookin foreward to having some fun here." should net you some first contacts and help or advice if you need any.

If you see something on the broker for an ungodly amount of plat it is most likely just being advertised, the person would like to trade for it. Just send em a tell asking what they would like for it.

We have all types of guild available also, just hang around for a bit and watch what is going on. Ask questions and I'm sure you will find a nice group to dink around with.

If you have any questions feel free to ask or mail me ingame

Brega - 70 Ranger, Test Server

ya I have to agree dont spend alot of time on test but its easy to level theres some guilds there that recruit all, and though the playerbase is small everyone is always lfg to do something. Not like in my server where about 200 of the total 1k online is farming with another 100 sending you plat tells lol. If you want a higher player base Id go to butcher block. Of all the pve servers I see when I make new chars only butcher and AB are loading medium with the rest light. You can go to naggy if you want but if ur new I wouldn't recommend it. From your start u'll need at least master crafted armor to survive the first assualt, fabled armor to get through your starting 30 levels. Anyone who says otherwise is poor and ticked they cant buy it or just bsing you lol.
