Bunch of problems (all involving first screen)

    Im trying to download the patches/updates but a bunch of things keep happening, first off the time is steadily increasing and has been for like an hour (will drop 6 seconds then rise like 8 seconds) second the download keeps canceling itself for some reason, and third i finally put it to download while i play but for some reason nothing pops up to let me play, and the create charactor button (im totaly new and dont have any yet) isnt anywhere on the screen.

<p>Firstly, you dont get a 'create character' button on the patcher screen, you need to press the big red 'Play' button to get anywhere.</p><p>If you dont have a big red play button youll have a big grey 'Update' or 'Updating' button, what thsi means it hasnt finished downloading everything yet that it thinks you need and it wont let you play til you have everything it thinks you need. The download whilst you play stuff is for the optional additional game content that isnt actually needed to play.</p><p>Are you running on Windows Vista? Cos this often causes the never finishing downloading problem, if you are then you have to 'Run as administrator' for EQ2.</p>
