I'm still fairly new to EverQuest II, but one thing I noticed right away were these objects in the world that would say "So-and-so was here". I recently found out that on a server reset, the first person to find that object can mark that item with their name. Pretty neat I thought. However, is there something else they could do with these markable items?

Would it be possible for these markable objects to be added to the journal when you first discover (click-on) them? I'm not sure whether they could work like collections do, but it could be done on a per-zone-basis. I think it would be fun to go on a scavenger-type hunt for these objects if I knew that I had discovered only 3 out of 5 in the Commonlands. What do others think?

P.S. Is this the correct forum for suggestions like these?

Those objects reset after a time so someone else can mark them. Its kind of a last player to mark them so they change thing. It tells you more who has been there recently not who discovered them initially. Have fun with them though!

Actually if i come along after you and click it marks it immedately. Im sure you will find more things as you venture across the lands. Always feel free to post things you find neat and with any suggestions you may have.
