I want to say THANK YOU to Zgzdftqgd and Scxrfzbmg for their generous offers of power leveling and deep discounts on gold sales. I recieved several tells from them in about an hours time. I know these guys really care about me because they promised me fun for me AND my guild....I just wish I could pronounce their names... Again, thank you

Is this really neccessary? I mean the daily post are worse then the spam. Live with it they arent going anywhere.

It makes ME feel like I am reminding SOE that their "fix" to minimize the spam is not working....And it's not working because there was never any "fix". Simply pulling the plug on tells from free trial accounts and regulating the number of tells sent within a certain period of time would go a long way to minimize these tells..but those "fixes" don't exist.....I know the spammers will never completely go away but SOE is doing little to nothing to get rid of them...

SOE is working to get it resolved, you can at least be reassured of that. Would you rather only have people on your friend's list be able to send an in game message to you?

Good enough for you?

No, really... the check has been in the mail for 3 years now... should be showing up any day now... A player configurable filter would be nice while we wait for the "intelligent" one... or maybe a /reportspam command? All things we have been begging for for years now... not days... or weeks... or months, but years. And the spam has escalated the past week so don't be surprised the rants do too. After spending 10 minutes searching I finally found the right sub-subcatagory to fill in the form to tell SOE that I made the /report about the spam so that they can look for my /report which I can only do once a day or some such. For those poor souls who have died while hunting it, it's under Community Standards. I figured as long as I had stopped what I was doing anyways I might as well waste another few minutes ranting on the Forums... see? I even found a pre-existing thread and did not start a new one....

I was wondering do you live in a bubble in real life? I mean if you walk along the street in a city you have people coming up to you for spare change, trying to sell you knock off Dvds, sell illegal substances or see a woman looking to do favors for a price. Even in the make belive world those people exist and while we try to shelter ourselves its not 100% in any world virtual or not. I say move on say your breath and live with it. The only harm is some digitized text that flashes by within seconds.
