Question about upgrading => EoF

<p>Hi there!</p><p> I'm a returning player, I haven't played until last november, about a month before EoF came out or so?  Anyway, I restarted playing, my main character is nearing Level 50... here's my situation:</p><p>When I started, I bought the game pack with Everquest II + Kingdom of Sky</p><p>I'm really interested in EoF, I hear it comes with all the older expansions.. BUT it only has 1 CD-key for the full box.  So if I do buy that all-in-one pack, will the CD-key give me a whole new account?  or will it only add EoF + Desert of Flames expansions?</p><p> I don't really want to lose my current characters, and I wont pay for 2 accounts. And the single-digital-download are pricy (I don't quite understand that).  </p><p>I didn't find this info in the FAQ, if I blindly missed it please redirect me <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p>

If you buy the box it will just be adding the expansions you do not have. CD keys just get tied to your account and have what they have, they don't make you make a second account.

And the single-digital-download are pricy (I don't quite understand that).  </p><p>I didn't find this info in the FAQ, if I blindly missed it please redirect me <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p></blockquote>If you buy the EoF retail box (all-in-one package) you will not lose your account, the discs just add/replace the files on your computer..the CD Key is to activate the EoF content (as well as any of the other expansions you don't already have, which appears to be just Desert of Flames).  Once you open the Launchpad and the Username/Password screen appears, you will need to click the "Register Expansion" button and enter the CD Key...if you don't, you can still log in, you just wont be able to access the new content.  Hope this helps clarify things for you.
