Apparently sorcerers are living too much in raids
SPELLS

Modified effectiveness on certain hate increase/reduction/transfer abilities on certain scout classes and coercers. This makes all achievements that modify hate more worthwhile, and place slightly more responsibility on predators/rogues in controlling their aggro generation.

All Apprentice I-IV spells are now only resisted as often as an Adept I version of the spell.

Assassin

Shadows: Reduced percentage

Brigand

Beg for Mercy: Reduced trigger count

Confound Adversaries: Removed hate position decrease.

Bruiser

Stone Deaf: Now has a percentage chance to trigger (100% at Master I), Mitigation is now calculated in determining if the Stoneskin triggers its damage threshold.

Coercer

Smirking Demeanor: Reduced hate increase component, but added a hate transfer component. This allows it to stack better with the Dirge's hate increase buff.

Dirge

Hyran's Angry Sonata: Slightly reduced at its highest level upgrade.

Guardian

Tower of Stone: Now has a percentage chance to trigger (100% at Master I), Mitigation is now calculated in determining if the Stoneskin triggers its damage threshold. Damage done to shields has been removed. Trigger count reduced to 2.

Ranger

Reconnoiter: Reduced percentage

Swashbuckler

Swarthy Distraction: Reduced percentage

Avoid Notice: Reduced trigger percentage and hate amount.

Warden

The description for the Warden spell Tranquility should now include the healing portion of the spell

Now taking the Int line makes sense. Mighty slick of them to remove our group reductions so we require our own, the Int AA. Raiding builds might actually require a Int build now. I hope this doesn't mean pick raids for non-Int specced players turn into grab aggro fests when casting the DD's.

If the INT line were good enough, then many would choose it, based on its own merits. I don't see a need to nerf our WIS line, to make INT and STA look better by contrast.

The problem with the Sta and Int line is that it doesn't do a thing for the one core ability wizards do, DPS. Yes they may help us stay alive to do more DPS but for almost any wizard in game, even the casual ones whats has become the most important is dps. Its and excepted part of being a wizzie, pulling agro. Int or sta line i never see becoming a part of a Raiders or even grp oriented wizards. We DPS while other classes are meant to help us not get agro. That idea is reinforced by the lack of agro control for the wizzie. Even with 3 spells the ability fails to compare to every other classes Xfer. So all the wis nerf did was make the agi, str line more of an option now.

dunno about wizards but as a warlock int looks great. i could blast out apocalypse chaostorm rift absolution then cast concussive blast and start my ordinary spell orders for the encounter and do a hell of a load of dps lol but then singles will be harder without wis being as good and i would need agi to be able to compare on singles - its not all bad.

Let me get this straight, they #$%#^&$& over all those classes just so Wizards and Warlocks would think about taking their int line?

They reduced all the hate buffs so classes AA hate lines would look more appealing. But it fails completely. Only class the new hate AA line would appeal to is warlocks There AOE damage is too much while any other class, even with the hate nerf will still more then likely want to depend on all the hate buff, xfer classes instead.

Even with the changes, as a High-Level RAID wizard OR warlock, the INT line is worthless

Look at the nerfs to scout-deagros, and more importantly....to Swashy/Assassin Hate TRANSFER and the nerf to the guardian's buckler line. Trust me...it effects raids

Dirge + coercer = cap if and only if you happen to always be put in a group with them. I've personally never had both.

The hate buff/xfer nerf will either not be so bad and we can work are way around it with out the int line AA;s or it will be so bad all sorcerers will have to take it in turn loosing dps. I hope its the first. Sorcerer hate is so dependable on other classes there is no way a hate line like int is can be on mid ground and be as appealing as the other 3 dps lines. We are so dependent on others that even a grp or casual raid set up where there is no bards or chanters the int line will not help b/c we generate way too much hate. Just to give an example. Went to a pug labs raids that did not have any bards or chanter. I decided to just dot and throw a few BoL's every so often. And i used both concussive and cease. Guardian had master and adept 3's but i still got agro. Basically if i had the AA's from the int line and i used my big nukes and proc spells which would be way more damage then what the int line could "subtract" i would still get agro and die. Srry for the mini rant all but int line is only manages to fit at either extreme. They want it to fit mid ground and balanced with the rest they need to give us more of a way to handle our agro without classes or a AA line.

If it is so horribly bad with agro now you'd be better off equiping the claymore reward in your new free secondar slot than specing int (at least the claymore should have a noticeable difference now that the threat position is supposed to work.
