What's the "regular" memory useage I should be seeing for EQ2?

Around 700MB +-200 here.

It really depends on the amount of ram you have. I recently upgraded from 1 gig to 2 gigs and noticed that with 1 gig eq2 used 700+/- 200 like Birn indicated. With two gigs eq2 almost always uses ~1600Mb of ram. Load times are much shorter, hitching is less and zoning is faster too.

I run 2gb and it still uses about 700-900mb.
