So.. I'm leveling up a Bruiser (started today, level 13) and I'm just curious about what you reckon I should put my AA points in. I'm considering going down the AGI-line first since I'm a fan of the Batons, also, I'm a fan of spamming attacks (Baton Flurry, Ambidexterity seem both seem like skills that suit my playstyle). How far away from optimal is this? I don't want to [Removed for Content] myself while I level up. I got a level 42 Swashy grabbing gear for the Bruiser so I'll have some pretty decent gear the first levels, depends on how my economy shapes up, hah.

It's about this time that I'd post my "recommended AA progression", but the data it contains is all pre-patch. I'm still of the belief that if you have weapons (which is required post patch), then the INT line is still the best for levelling. So I would still go 4/4/8/6/2 INT before anything else. After that though, I couldn't say. I guess at that point it becomes a question of how good the updated "Chi" is, compared to a 45 second recast "Mantis Leap" for example. (You don't really get into enough multiple mob fights for the WIS line to be that useful when soloing, imo). At the moment, I'm leaning towards STA. Slightly worse debuff and dps buff (unless you chain pull when soloing), but a guaranteed crit every 45 seconds is, imo, more useful to a solo class than a big dps splurge every 15 (10?) minutes.

4/4/8 wis int sta is a pretty safe route to go to. The Chi and Crane flock are good end abilites to try to get. YOu might consider going directly down the str line for chi, as the new 448 str sounds pretty interesting, but I'd wait and see what people are saying about it here. Start on one of the proc AAs first (go sta, since sta is actually useful to you) and see what people are saying here about the new aas.... It's all trial and error and taste. After you've been 70 for awhile you'll end up switching your AAs around to find what best. There's no "perfect" answer really.

I've been trying to find some info on what updating patches will contain and when to expect them but all I can find are small bits and pieces they don't tell much.
