Hey all , Well I just dinged 50 and am looking at making my new Cobalt Armor but had a Question.

Well I was looking at making the Chainmail Armor that has the stats of STR, AGI and STA, but was told the other day by someone that I needed to go with another Cobalt armor that Had STR, AGI and INT instead. He said that it would help out the damage by posions.

Anyway, just thought id ask and see if anyone has any input on this..

Thanks..

I can tell you that most of the melodic armor I've made has been for scouts. Both the Trouby/Dirge and Ranger/Assassins... Don't know if I've made any for Rogues however, but I can see the logic to it as it is the same for the other classes.

Poison damage is based on INT, so the more int you have, the higher the damage would be from the poison. Also, other damage procs work this way as well I believe (such as the imbue on your weapon and such).

The one exception here is for tanking rogues (ie, those who chose the STA line), for these the standard set would be the better set, since the STA would help them with HPs. I fully figured I'll take my brigand into these sets once I get upto where they are practical (ie, when there are enough pieces to worry about) as the armorer doesn't get these as a complete set until t6 I believe, maybe t7 (would have to check my recipe book)
