Real life > EQ2.

Lately, ive proritised differently, and quite often picked EQ2 > Real Life.

I turned 18 not long ago, and i realised i couldnt do this all my life, and that i wanted to do something with my life, therefore im quitting EQ2.

May not mean much to many here on the official boards as hardly anyone know me, except for those occationally weird posts ive created, but its still a movie based on EQ2, so i guess it fit the Fan Art forum ok.

Ive decided to keep away from all those transitions in this movie as i just want it to be a clean movie with no great distraction, just enjoy the movie, the song and look at the pics if you want, they are the pics that reminds me of EQ2 the most.

This is my sundown

Music: Jimmy Eat World - My Sundown

EDIT: btw, im well aware that Guild Mirage got a movie too thats called "Sayonara Norrath" which also uses this song, but im not trying to be a copycat, i just wanted to make that movie as my bye-bye

although i can agree with separating life from eq2 in that you should have a good balance of both business and pleasure in life, it always saddens me to see someone leaving. This is the way i see eq2...i pay 15$ a month and have endless entertainment. I still have a job, im not addicted to street drugs or cigarrettes or an alcoholic...im not a prostitute (nor am i offering [Removed for Content]) so i think ive found a good balance of life and video game...just think of all the things you could be doing with your spare time that may not be productive. Enjoy the little things that make you smile. Maybe take a break and see how you feel. But giving up something that makes you happy just because you think its time to run out in the world and be superman, will just make you disenchanted with life. I think that growing up is great...but keeping one foot in the sandbox keeps us all sane. ** now about the video...i thought it was great and so very personal. I actually got a little teary eyed. saying goodbye is hard. and i dont care what people say...friends in game are friends in real life...sometimes my friends in game are better then my friends in real life LOL. Good luck with whatever you decide. Every new beginning comes from some other beginnings end. (Closing Time by: Blink182)

What exactly is a life? Job? friends? Sorry I'm a sage and I have plenty of friends!

Real life should always come before the game. If you've recognized that you haven't been doing this, then you're already a stronger and better person for it. You have your whole life ahead of you and a lot to look forward to. (I wish I could be 18 again sometimes.)

Good luck to you in whatever you decide to do.

Last year, the person who got me started in EQ made the hard choice to retire from Norrath in favor of this "Real Life" thing.. and I can say that I thought about it too. But as been said, making a balance of RL and EQ can be achieved, unless of course, your Sugnificant Other doesnt play.. then it becomes difficult.
