Hello all. I figure this has been experienced by many so i didnt bother to copy/paste the error dialogue, but i can if its necessary. However, whenever i alt-tab from EQ2, the game crashes. I assumed there was probably a quick-fix for this or its a known issue? Also, while i'm at it, I have a 8800GTX Ultra. I kinda noticed that i get a bad framerate in the game. I have to run the game on Balanced setting otherwise the game is choppy as hell. However on Balanced the game is perfect. Or is the game really that hardcore to run or does EQ2 not like the 8800 cards yet? Thanks!!

If you have an 8800 Ultra I would assume you also have at least a dual core CPU. You will want the dual core scheduler patch to windows, it helped a great deal on my E6600/8800GTS rig. Look on one of TSR-JasonC's sticky threads for the link, if you're running an AMD64 X2 there another dual core optimiser as well I think. Also make sure you have the latest drivers from Nvidia.

Already got the newest drivers and i've had Dual Core Optimizer for my AMD 4800X2 for over a year now. I just find it odd i played the game at release, and now just coming back to the game, i'm playing it on the same settings with the same performance. And my system now has at least twice the power.
