I am a lvl 63 Warden, Suited for healing, not melee. I always wear mastercrafted gear (still waiting for my tailor friend to finish my 62 set ). I am working the Claymore Questline and noticed most of the gear is suited for melee wardens. Anyways.... Does anyone have a pic of what a full suit of Claymore Armor for wardens looks like on a toon? I do plan on getting my EOF class armor, but in the meantime..... Thanks in Advance

You are slightly confused There is no class claymore armor. There are rewards for doing claymore quests that fall into plate, chain, leather, and cloth but they are not meant to be class specific or benefit any one class more than the other. Also, there is no full suit. Most of it is mitigation jewelry. The only class sets are the AQ quests in your 20s, the EoF legendary set, and the EoF fabled set.

There's a player made set from DFC now as well, but it's like level 40 or so armor.

A warden can heal just as well if melee or nuke spec'ed. The only thing that might change a little is your power pool if you start looking for str gear for melee spec.

While I love the melee for flavor reasons, the dev's accidently or on purpose forgot to put in/change druid gear to have str/wis instead of just int wis. Labs drops a couple of nice str/wis legendary/fabled items but you would have to raid to get. Since you are equiped for nuking so it doesn't matter though.

If you stay nuking then just use whatever loot you can get off named until you can get the EoF sets. They are int based. Its a shame though since melee also came into being with EoF but the gear is not there to support it adaquately. They are good for either a back up or for transmuting though, lol.

Thanks for everyones input, and yes I received my 62 mastercrafted set yesterday .... I know that there is no "class claymore armor", what I meant was is there a full set when you finish or will my 62 matercrafted +STA/WIS/INT gear be better? You guys pretty much answered that one already. It looks like it is far into the questline before the rewards for wardens are worth anything. I have heard my Palladin and Bezerker cohorts saying how nice this bow is or that shield is, but when I compare rewards that I can use with items I am currently equiped with, they are downgrades. Is this questline just not suited for Wardens? I guess the jewelry will be nice but not until the later half of the questline. As far as my class armor goes.... I was planning on getting my legendary set to prep for raiding to get my fabled set. I am looking at going after the Jale Phlintoe's Wildfire Armor Set. Can anyone tell me how rare these drops appear to be? I know there is only a "chance" it will drop , it just seems more often than not, the drop from named is not warden driven. Always Chain and plate stuff. Very rarely do I even see a warden spell drop. I have looked up what nameds are supposed to drop each piece.... EX. Axxyk`Tuur (named boss in The Obelisk of Blight) is supposed to drop 1 of the following....

Leggings of Determined Growth

Darkbriar's Masquerade Slippers

Signet of Light from Darkness

Sabatons of Nem Anhk

McCabe's Double-Dealing Boots

Jale Phlintoe's Wildfire Boots

Kithicor's Nighthunter Boots

Kyle Bayle's Dogmatic Boots

Strongbear's Steelkin Feet

Vhalen's Thunderous Boots

Al'Kabor's Spellborn Shoes

just wondering if I will be killing him 50 times to get lucky enough for him to drop my boots. Any wardens out there that already have this full suit, can you post a screenshot of what it looks like? Also if you have done this and started it before lvl 70, any recommendations as to the order I should go after these, based on what zones they are in, etc? Well Enough of my ranting. Thanks Again Everyone....

All EoF legendary and fabled set armor drops depend on your group makeup now to decide which class item drops. So at worst case, you have a 1/6 chance of getting the drop for your class, and depending on your group makeup your chances could be better than that.

Legendary class boots and bracers drop off of the bosses in Obelisk of Blight and Crypt of Valdoon (respectively). They are both guaranteed drops, so if you run those instances as often as possible, you should get them pretty quickly. Both of those zones are doable by a group in their upper 60s if you know what you're doing.

Legendary class hat and chest drop off of the Priest of Fear and the boss (respectively) in Unrest. They are both guaranteed drops. Unrest is geared towards a group of level 70s, so although it might be possible to do before then, I personally wouldn't recommend it.

Legendary class gloves drop off of at least one ring event in Kaladim (rumor is that they can drop off of others as well, but I've only personally confirmed one). It is NOT a guaranteed drop, so expect to be farming it for a while. Kaladim is doable by a group in their upper 60s, provided you have enough DPS to clear the ring events.

Legendary class shoulders drop off of at least one named mob in Mistmoore Catacombs (rumor is that they can drop off of others as well, but I've only personally confirmed one). It is NOT a guaranteed drop, so expect to be farming it for a while. MM Catacombs is doable by a group in their mid to upper 60s.

Legendary class legs drop off of at least one named mob in Mistmoore Castle. I've never killed this mob, but I don't believe it is a guaranteed drop either, so expect to be farming it for a while. As MM Castle is generally considered the most difficult group zone in the game, I would not recommend going in there without a strong group of level 70s.

The gloves, shoulders, and legs are all tradeable, so they can be purchased off of the broker. The last time I checked, shoulders and gloves were going anywhere from 15-25p on my server, and the only time I've seen the legs they were up for 200p. The boots, bracers, hat, and chest are all no-trade, so you will need to acquire those yourself.

Just FYI, all legendary class set items have a level requirement of 69.

bunny, Thanks for all that info. It is a huge help in deciding which zones to run and at what levels to do it at. I think I may start with the guarenteed drops first, then move on to the ones that may tak a longer time to drop. That way I am better suited for the mass killing required for farming the rare drops. Thanks Again Everyone, Parmasniper The Bazaar

I think I get what the OP is calling "Claymore Quest" armor. Its the armor that is rewarded while doing the Claymore steps in SOS. It isn't class or archetype specific just cloth, leather, chain, or plate. Some of the pieces are actually quite nice for the level (though take a bit of effort to get). I don't think they have a complete set. I don't have a screen shot of it... but the leather pieces are red and white. I think it looks better than T7 mastercraft (Woven Dragonhide... which is hideous... if only it had the Woven Engraved look it would be better). In that it is not a class specific armor the pieces don't support your mana pool as well as Mastercraft but I think the resists may be better (which isn't really a factor with high wisdom Wardens). Its certainly worth getting (if you're doing the Claymore quests anyway) until you can pick up some drops from instances or raids.
