Finding PVP fights on Venekor in the T3-T6 range can be difficult. With the world continuing to grow larger and the population staying the same or declining it seems we need a tool to help find each other. I purpose a switch that you or your group can optionally turn on to make finding PVP battles easier. Once opted into this switch you can gain the general location of other PVP players in your level range and they will of course gain your location. This feature can have other effects such as hardcore mode, with no immunity timers or releasing during combat. Also I am sure there will need to be a minimum timeout before leaving this mode to prevent misuse. Please feel free to add any suggestion or point out any flaws- and yes I know what track is for, but even that has its limitations and not everyone plays a scout.

How about turning Antonica, Commonlands, Thundering Stepps, Nek Forest into battleground zones where you get extra faction forkilling people ? maybe extra fame ?

Fact of the matter is, peope lthat have aoe stuff can't pvp in higher zones because of mobs. This will solve both the finding pvp issue and balance enviorment for higher lvl players.

If what I purpose above has too many exploits another idea would to create a "blind bounty." Lets say you form a group of 5 for PVP and opt-in to hardcore mode; you then ask the system for for a bounty. It takes your group into account then randomly assigns you another group that is within reason for you to kill. The system allows you to track that groups general movements and rewards you extra faction/tokens. But remember that once are take part in the system another group can be given a bounty to kill you as well. This might help with alleviating the reason why people need to level lock at T2 in order to gain enough faction before the population thins out.

sorry, but it sounds like a pretty sucky idea to me. no offense.. but sounds hokey and unimplimentable.

Now, as luxun said, if they added something to ant/cl/nek/ts/butcher/gfey/dlw.. i've made suggestions like that in the past.

Live events where the queen or overlord have called you to come defend territory X from invasion, or have called for you to invade and take that zone over. During the duration of the event you can have all sorts of rules apply to that zone, and not just 1 at a time.

* no dropped/gained loot

* double dropped/gained loot

* no dropped/gained fame (get those overseers out to fight again, rather than standing on the docks all day)

* double dropped/gained fame

* double gained faction

* double gained status

* Additional faction gained -- not luncanic knights or royal antonican guard faction, but another faction -- like the city guild your class is associated with.

* full guild status gained, rather than 10%, encourages guilds to go all out for the duration

* double pvp threat range, so for T2 it becomes 8 for that zone, or a T3 event would be 16!!

* no in-zone reviving. for the duration of the event if you die you can revive only outside the zone.. at a random location?

Look, this is just [Removed for Content] i'm throwing at the wall here to see what sticks, but the live event idea is a good and implimentable one. No hokey moving teams around or special track things. Just attractive things to bring people out to fight. These aren't all great ideas, so don't respond to them and tell me which ones will or won't work -- i don't care what you think about them but if you have your own good ideas for a cool live event rule, go ahead and share.

If you have trouble finding pvp, then what i'd be asking for is for reasons to bring pvp together, for all sides.

I personaly dont know about any of these ideas but there definatly need to be something, something ofr soloers and groups and even raids. I think what would be cool too is on docs and other imunity place where both faction could b e imune to each other a hail system to encourage duels without ganking interaction sure some classes duel better than others but its what the people want and why not use these areas to do it...... Hey at least its something

(i want to safely go through this zone, so i box an enemy toon and /duel my way around free from pvp).

I do like something you said though, and it gives me another idea for a cool live event rule

* No grouping allowed for the duration

* Only grouping allowed for the duration

Just shooting the [Removed for Content], as i said before

would be kinda interesting saying like a few times a week an anouncement would go throughout the norrath world proclaimin such pvp event in said zone whether is be cl ant or wherever. And just have a all out pvp event for a few hours. That would be sick and would make pvp more enjoyable.

Case you havent noticed PVE and arena duels arent on pvp rule sets so why the hell would anyone want to do that??? Not only does it not count but its false practice........

Hmmmm.... War zone. Pick a zone, like Antonica, Commonlands or Sinking Sands. No grouping allowed for that day's run; zone in as a group, end up de-grouped. Double PvP rewards. 6 respawn locations, 2 random places for each team to respawn. Respawn immunity nerfed to 90 seconds. And .....

Sorry, got into my own little world back there. Too much time playing tabletop warfare perhaps?

Sweet no grouping allowed? Can I temp change my class to Rogue/Predator too when I zone in? Or of course, Druid.

Best of the Best Tournament:

Players from each faction come to a special spot where you hail someone you are then entered into the registry of combatants.

Everyone is randomly assigned another person to fight of -4 to +4 in levels (same as zone difference). Only one vs One and a special instance such as the arena except with PVP rules and no pots or temporary buffs, the match is set to a 5 minute time limit so people can't randomly run around like chickens. Then it does like the playoffs etcetera 100 people compete only 50 move forward, then 25 and so on. If it is uneven then a loser will have a random chance to fight another random loser/winner. Prize is a a PVP item for that class and some gold of course the item is No-trade and Lore.
