melee specced warden need STR, STR and then STR... well WIS wont be bad either

Basically STR/WIS gear is the best... If you have fabled/mcrafted gear and INT/WIS specced, why do you want to betray your fury? If you want more dmg, make a mage

Seriously, healer classes are not ment to be yb4h on DPS. Of course the DPS is not too bad atm, and we still can heal... so... *shrug*

I've seen posts that Furies make more dmg than eg. melee specced wardens... dunno if this is true or not, since never played a fury myself. However im quite confident that a properly geared/played INT specced fury will make ~ the same DPS as melee specced warden. IF you happen to ldislike spellcasting and love to melee (like me), then i seriously recommend you to betray... otherwise ... consider it.

++Xan

yeah the problem is finding items that are wiz/str..

i dont dislike my fury, if i was on a pve server then i would be more than happy with staying fury. i can take named and heroics with ease but im on a pvp server and the playstyle of fury just isnt the same. the nuke times are too long and are heavily resisted... so i want to make the move to melee warden.

what gear would you guys sujest for this lvl range? i currently use this weapon aITEM 587956999 1357863389:Archons Great Flail/a

any info to help me along would be great. thx guys

If its resist that are bothering you, you might want to wait for the next LU before you change anything. Resist are supposed to be adjusted for PVP among other things like general damage reduction for druids among other classes. The druid roots are also getting reduced which effects wardens a lot more then fury's who only have the one root. Our deagro is an AOE root also.

If you are not familiar with what gear out there is STR oriented that you can wear: Just stand around and look to see what a Bruiser or Monk is wearing. That would be what I'd get if I was melee spec'ing.

Don't neglect WIS cause that's your power pool.
