SK race?

Trying to decide on a race for my SK.  It is down to human, dark elf or erudite.  Any pros/cons to any of them?  Or does race really not matter in this game?  Pick something you don't mind staring at. <img src="/smilies/283a16da79f3aa23fe1025c96295f04f.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> Thanks

<p>Yeah.  The standard reply that most say to this is at the end game the race won't matter because gear will get your stats to wherever you want them to be.  </p><p>For a Shadowknight you need Int.  So you could start the way with an Erudite.  But problem with that is they don't start with much Strength.  So walking around in all that plate could be troublesome.  But with a few levels under your belt you can get the equipment to get your strength up.  Int gear is a bit harder to find in plate though and that is why I suggest an Erudite who start with high Int.  By end game it won't really matter what race start with though.  So choose what backside you can stare at for 70+ levels or choose because of racial traditions.  </p>

Go Human. All plate is sized stupidly on both of the other races unless you go into SOGA. I regret making a Dark Elf and wish I'd gone human now. Most helmets look massive on my head, and the plate is totally out of proportion.

I mean from a role-playing standpoint its perfect ...a little too perfect if you ask me :p

It's even worse if you're not wearing the SK helm and you're wearing something with the Vanguard graphic.

I decided to go with a human.  There seemed to be one too many de's for my taste and eruds looked plain odd to me as a figher.  I may make one as an inquistor though.  Thanks everyone!
