Depends on the classes of the characters your fighting. Also to stand any chance you need to atleast be all mastercrafted and adept III in spells. Once you are that then it just depends on the class you are fighting. My lvl 20 monk loves fighting assassins and brigs, such a high avoidance I avoid more than 60% of there attacks and once they realize after all of their big hitters have been used and I'm still at 85% life they usually start running for the hills. Its great. Healers will beat the crap out of you though. If casters get the drop on you its pretty much game over also.

Unfortunately, peeps lvl lock to gain pvp gear and AA's.

My suggestion is to try and gear up as best you can and increase your AA. Try and find a couple of instances where you can solo and go from there. Also if those instances have nodes to harvest, do that as well. Currently lower tiered mats are selling for three times as much as T5-T7 mats.

I wish you the best of luck.

Here's another one for the road....

/BigBearHug!

well theres kinda a clue when you see the lowbie twinks with a title there kinda like heroics dont dare solo em unless you got some major firepower how do you expect they got that title you can only gank so much then you have to kill real folks to fame up. So in other words there not gona be cake and they prob did spend more than you but also havent takn a break either and know what to do.

Give it some time bro just got get some aa's and group as much as you can till your more into it and geared a bit better. No body likes to run but there champs and dreds for a resaon IMO

Its not you cant fight em just give your self some of your own advantages im not gona tell you for free but heres an example some may say its cheese but your at a disadvantage otherwise so its fair game in my book.

If you higher level run to there con agro and your con grey that always helps, lure then to factional agro, guards ect..... run to some nonagro heroics and fight then detaunt ect they cant AOE if you in mobs way help you limit there attack.

These are just some very easy things you can do to help your odds and chances are there prob so confident they can beat you it will work, next best peice of advice if you win... Get the heck outa there cause they will be smarter the second time around and my have there feelings so hurt to bring help, so move on advoid them if you can nothing will [Removed for Content] them off more than not getting revenge heheheh mouhahahah GL

My friend started a bruiser and had treasured/handcrafted gear with a little island gear as well-he has a kill streak of 17 now. Pretty good for a noob toon who is also new to PvP!!

Some classes are a little easier to play, and some you have to pick your strategies carefully. What is your gear like? Are your spells upgraded? How many AA points do you have?

What was the situation in which these levels were kiling you? I do not know of anyone level 16 who can easily solo a level 20 anything...so could you please be a little more specific?

Bottom line-spending plat is not what makes the better PvPers.

my current gear is kind of a mix between caves quest gear, 2 blackened iron weapons, and some treasured stuff. my skills are all app4-adept 1, with the 1 m2 skill.

The pvp situation is usually i go to attack, they just sit there and laugh, and then proceed to roll me like a bowling ball down a well greased lane

To the OP, this is exactly why I do not play PVP. It's an unfair advantage and no fun when that happens.

Well Mr. Monk I see a few things that screw you over. The caves gear actually isn't that bad, its not mastercrafted but its decent. However you are lvl 20 which means in the lowest pvp zones (4 lvls) you are attackable by people in the next tier of equipment, so basically lvl 22 mastercrafted gear. So the people over lvl 22 are probably really going to roll you. But don't fret! There is hope!! You are a monk which means to get MC armor you just need the rare leather pelt which is usually pretty dang cheap! Curibolli pelts are like 10-20 gold so thats not to bad, its not like its BIC or anything. My guy uses Fir fighting batons and Severed Fir is like 8 gold and if you keep checking the broker for a week or so you can usually find some palladium under 30 gold. You have to check it a lot but you can scoop up a few pieces here and there until you get a full set of jewelery. Rare loams are what you need for your adept III's and they can sometimes be pricey. Just keep checking the broker like with the palladium and you can usually steal a few for pretty cheap and just spend some time out harvesting. To make money just sell all the treasured/attunable gear you find and adept I spells you find. Transmuters will eat that stuff up and sometimes you can get 10-20 gold a piece which is really nice! Sometimes you don't get that much but it all adds up!

Another benefit of MCing and adept IIIing yourself out is that questing is much easier as well, usually allowing you to do the more difficult quests solo. If you solo a lot that is..I know I usually do.

to survive now you need fabled. MC aint cutting it any more as the game has advanced to deckn out in da pvp gear now. We need to get all the fabled titles in 1 field and watch the show. A dev teleports everyone into a feild and the 2 sides face each other. The overseer is like [Removed for Content]!!!!!!!!!!!! The juggs are going ohhh shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit. And then people start poofing away in evacs everywhere. The wardens are flipping off the furies run speed as they disappear away. Monks and bruisers and healers are all running like a bat out of hell while furies and rangers who didnt have evac up are whippn throuhg the ranks tward the zone line. The Mages are wiped out where they stand by a band up exiles that are laughing their [Removed for Content] off as they watch the show. Now thats a dam pvp video lol.
