Seems as though the SOE database already tracks which named NPCs we have dispatched because we get the messages after killing them a subsequent time "You have already received experience for killing this encounter"... SOOOO

Can we please have a journal page listing all the named NPC's we have killed? At the very least have the list sorted alphabetically and allow us to search it. At the very best it should include the name, zone, level and date of kill with sorting on any of those and search as well.

This would help in determining whether or not we need to spend time on going after a particular named for AA experience at the least.

Many thanks.

That's a good idea.

Great idea, I'm surprised I haven't seen it before.

While I think it's a good idea, I don't think the intent is to have people going out of their way to seek out a named in order to obtain Achievement for it, I think the Named achievement is intended as a bonus.

I personally would love to look at my past 2 years and see when I first took out a named. If it's important enough to have a name, shouldn't have a record of when you first killed it? Just another way of giving more depth to your character.

Rather than an explicit list, how about a means of looking at a named and knowing whether we've killed it before? For players with severals alts it can get quite confusing trying to remember which characters have killed which named before.

A lot of times I'll kill a named just because I'm not sure whether I've killed it before or not. If I knew whether I had killed it already, and I know it doesn't drop anything I'd really be interested in, I'd be more likely to just leave it alone for someone else to kill.

I don't think the Named achievement is a bonus because as you will recall we used to have to finish quests before they turned green to get achievement and I'm still trying to make up for all the achievement I didn't get because I couldn't finish my quests before they turned green because all of the quests required Heroic mobs even though none of those quests were labeled as Heroic in the quest journal.

Yes, I'm bitter about that and I vent my frustration on those Named mobs. So, I support this idea 100%.

This would be an excellent idea, I would love to have a list of named kills, gives kinda a named hunter to it.

Thats a cool side idea to this - titles for number of named killed....I can see a whole Bounty hunter title line...LOL

I have no idea how many named are in the game so I will leave the breakdown to the devs but it would be another neat thing to put in the game with minimal work I would think.
