I am wondering if it is possible to betray from a warden to a fury, when doing the betrayal quest. Since you can play both classes on both sides? Or is it just a betrayal between sides?

Thanks in advance

Yes, after you complete betrayal you have the option of going to the warden trainer or fury trainer to learn your new trade.

Why switch from warden, tho?

Thanks alot for the fast reply,

Well i dunno, i haven't played eq for almost 2 years and recently have a blast with this game again. Only i notice i solo more then i used to, in fact i probly solo over 70% of my time. I hear everywhere that fury's are way smoother in soloing and seeing the AA's and spells i tend to agree.

I solo about 75% of the time myself. Wardens pretty much suck at soloing except when spec'd for melee. I just got my final AAs to spec full melee over the weekend on my (now) 47 warden. With the 75% crit hit off the warden tree, and all four melee spells at the full 5 points, combined with the 40% (8 points) double hit in the strength tree... OMG.

I've never had so much fun with my warden as I had this weekend.

When I was casting, pre-melee, solo was almost impossible. I had to kill 3-5 levels below (all green) and then it took forever to kill the mobs, what with interrupts and resists and long cast times... awful!

This weekend I was mowing through mobs 2-4 levels above mine with NO difficulty. I didnt test to see how high a level con I could take, or how many ^^ 's I could handle, but she just runs through the mobs like butter now. She is a perfectly well oiled solo machine.... of course it only took 51 AA to get there LOL (I also have the full 5 pts in SOW because I cant stand to be slow). I just did green quest after green quest after green quest til I had enough. Now I can do even con/yellow quests easily

Just food for thought Betrayal is a PITA and if you can afford to respec your AAs first and try melee, you might find you like the warden just fine.

Hmm yes that is indeed food for thought, so basicly the fury is a better casting soloer wile a warden can shine as a meleeing druid? Interesting.... Shame i don't fancy melee that much.

That appears to be the trend, yes. Fury = better caster and better overall dps, Warden = better melee and slightly better healing than fury.

If you don't care for melee, tho, thats a problem. I myself cannot stand casting. Having to stand in place, root, wait for the ridiculously long cast times, hope the spell is not interrupted, hope the spell is not resisted, hope your root holds long enough to cast the first time let alone a second... not for me. I'd rather jump in and start killing

In any case...wardens CAN solo and solo very very well - just melee

Melee Wardens are great fun, yes. I'm taking out blue ^^^ face on and giving them a beat down with little or no problems. My gear is not that great (no fabled) and have no masters (all ad3) so it would be scary to see what someone well equiped could do.
