I bought Everquest 2 from station online store and it only was in digital download format so i download it and installed it (and patched it all), thats ok. The big question is: if i wanna level more than level 50 and get all the cool staff from all the expansions,do I have to buy (download)all the expansions one by one(Kingdoms, desert of flames and faydwer) or I just download Faydwer?. I know in retail boxes faydwer comes with all the prior expansions but i dont know if that is true with the sony online store. Thx for answering.

I may be wrong, but I think you'll need to purchase and download Flames, Kingdoms, and Faydwer if you go with the digital download. Kind of a [Removed for Content] deal, but it does have the instant gratification factor. I'll be buying the boxed retail version of RoK myself, it takes too dang long to install the game plus all the expansions on my release version DVDs.

The reason they do this is so that there is a reason for game stores to carry the box, if they offered the all in one pricing for DD then there would be even fewer copies in the store.

Why not just order the box from an online retailer? ebgames and amazon i'm pretty sure will both let you buy the game and they will ship it to you. I don't know how well that works for international customers but it will probably be a lot cheaper.

Thx all for replying. The problem is I am in Spain () and I think buying in amazon and those the Faydwer retail copy will get alot of time to ship or not?---> Lol sorry now there's another question.

PD: In my country (Spain) i havent seen a retail copy in a store in all the country (i have asked another spanish EQ2 players in other regions of my country) and Copies of World of Warcraft arrives in mountains (and other mmorpgs but this the most lol). I dont understand anything, WoW: a game from a company less intertationally recognised than Sony.

What you could do is find someone in the US you trust. Send him the money for it and they can just email you the activation key.

In reality if they want EQ2 on the selfs of most stores Especally game stores like EBgames(where space is a premium) they have to buy shelf space.

I think it's because there are major issues between SoE and it's international distributor (Ubsoft I beleave) and if that disributer is not going to end up the Disributer of RoK do you really think they are going to spend any time expanding the customer base of EQ2?

I know for people in the UK its really bad because if you do buy it from an American Online Retailer(the EU online retailers are apearently out of stock too) you accually have to pay huge fines and taxes to "import" it. I am not shure if there are simaler Tarriffs in Spain but I would not be suprized.
