FINALLY! Klouh, my very first character, created on Sept. 18, 2005, has made it to 70! (As you can tell, there was no power-leveling involved. ) EQ2 is my first MMO, so when I created this character I was REALLY A NOOB! It's been a great journey to 70. Along the way I've had several alts and leveled several crafters, and I've come to really love this game. I've gotten lots of help here on the forums while learning to play, and being part of the forum community makes the game so much richer. Thanks to all of you for answering my sometimes silly and often ignorant questions and helping me to reach 70! WOOT!

Grats!

When my first toon hit 70 (Necro) it was a good feeling then I think the game instantly lost a lot of appeal to me, I actually stopped playing. The power of EQ2 is stong though and I came back after only a month away wishing I'd never left.

After the buzz, did your attitude towards the game change at all?

Many congratulations. EQ2 was my first MMOG too, and I remember how good it felt to hit 50. Then they released an expansion... >_<

Congrats!!! I remember how awesome it was when I hit 70. I was kinda worried that the game would get borning, but I actually played just as much as I did pre 70, especially with places like Unrest and Mistmoore Castle, being 70 made those places a lot more accesible to me. So enjoy being 70 cause there's a ton to do still.

Gratz on 70. Now you get to earn 100 AA, finish quest lines, earn titles, raid, help friends, gear up, etc, etc, etc... till the next level cap increase.

Thanks so much, everybody! Finally reaching 70 has been pretty exciting. I don't expect that my enjoyment of EQ2 will decrease any time soon, just because I finally have a level 70 adventurer. As others have pointed out, there are still so many things to do, with Klouh and with my other characters. Klouh is a tailor, but only lvl61, and he has only 49 achievement points. so trying to figure out how to get another 51 points should keep me busy for awhile. And I have two accounts full of other characters to work on, too. And there are plenty of places that none of my characters have even been yet, so I have lots of places to discover. I find EQ2 to be a very flexible game. There's always something I enjoy doing. I might feel like killing mobs, I might want to craft or harvest or just go riding around exploring, taking screen shots and collecting shinies. Norrath is such a vast and beautiful world, I've never been bored with EQ2 and I expect to be playing and enjoying the game for a long time to come.

Congratulations!!

I hit 70 with about 6 months ago or so, and just last week hit my 100th aa/ap...I still prefer to log in with this toon and play instead of with my alts, as many have said, there is still plenty to do. I have really enjoyed mentoring down and grouping with friends and/or guildies and doing alot of stuff I might have missed, especially killing alot of nameds - great for aa/ap's.

Anyhow...Congrats again!!
