Anyone else find this annoying? As a coercer I have been aiming to get a few items that have a chance to proc on every spell I cast. I've noticed a DPS increase having done this, but I've also found it quite irritating that when I've mezzed a mob and I start debuffing it, or I decide to root it, an item will proc and break my mez. I think it would be nice to make it so weapon procs didn't trigger on mezzed mobs. Comments?

I have bout 6-7 proc gear + synergism (as i am an illy). And i proc all the time. Usually the proc goes through befor mez effects take hold. So it doesnt break. I have neard of a few proc items that can break mez as they seemed to have gone after the fact but it seems like a bug. Heck if you wanted a chanter can kill a mob by mezing it......... It could take well over 5 hours BUT it can be done.

Don't use those pieces of gear when you need to mez <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> I'm assumig it's either the chel'drak dagger, of that wrist item I never remember the name of.

Yeah - proc is applied before the mez. I was talking about debuffs and non-damage spells cast on a mob after mez has already been applied. For example a coercer has a huge debuff vs. all magic, and a spell that causes reactive damage every time a mob successfully attacks. I like to cast these on any mobs I mez.

They made the proc change a while back where the proc lands before the mezz.  I just make a point of not touching a mob that I've mezzed unless it is with a root.  Otherwise, I know I'm playing with fire and might land an attack and break my own mezz.

Ahh yah debuffing comes with the danger of breaking from procs. Thats why if i am about to debuff i root it just in case it breaks.
