I guess i would think its a good spell if the duration were longer than 10 seconds. And if it had been for all magical dmg and not only Mental. Its not many classes that uses mental dmg....and even if they do, they hardly do alot of dmg. If you make a macro saying " <b>Tashiana up for 10 sec" </b>then its gonna take 1-2 secodns for ppl to actually se it and a few seconds to mayeb be able to cast a spell that is worth using. So i dont really see this spell being of any use...unless they make it <b>All magical dmg.</b></span></span></span></span></span></p><p><span style="font-size: x-small"><span style="color: #66ffff"><b><u>ManaWard: </u></b><span style="font-size: xx-small"><span style="color: #ff00ff">There are some mobs that uses powerdrain, where i have used this one...and its not a huge help, but atleast some. Thought Snap really does work, but it gets resisted fairly often. It can be helpful if the tank isn't the greatest at holding aggro, or getting it back after a memwipe. Tashina is handy to boost damage from the three classes that use mental damage: Illusionist, Coercer and Troubador. Having a macro that announces it at least lets others know that it is in effect and that they can get one or two spells off that will make use of it. Manaward: There are a fair number of mobs that drain mana in EoF raid zones, mostly Emerald Halls and Inner Sanctum. I've had 30K+ on the healing parse against Wuoshi, almost all of that coming from Manaward. Coercive Healing: Hard to tell without parsing with and without it that it is really having an impact. Consensus is that it is best cast on a shaman, so that wards get the bonus. Reactives aren't that useful, as the cleric is often refreshing the reactive before all the triggers are used up from the previous casting. Compared to the illusionists, coercer final abilities are sorely lacking. I really can't say any of them are particularly exciting or important compared to time compression or illusory arm.

<p><b>Tashiana</b> <- Must have for pvp imho.. otherwise pointless. The duration is WAY to short.</p><p><b>Coercive Healing</b> <- Must have pvp or pve... well.. maybe not if you solo alot. <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p><p><b>Though Snap</b> <- Actually looks interesting for pvp, but Tashiana > Though Snap imho. Mainly cause the points into this line don't help as much as the Resist line do.... for pvp of course. <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p><p> Enjoy</p><p>Exur - 70 Coercer</p><p>Venekor </p>

Tash is nice to lead off with, since the resist chance is so low. If you are having problems getting your other debuffs to land, take tash and throw that first, then the other debuffs.

Tashiana is very useful I think... especially if you sometimes solo or duo with a dps class. Breakdown, Marred Psyche, Tashiana then Sonic Boom, Ego Torrent and Stroke (for damage that's ~3300 to ~4200, ~1200 to ~1350, ~850 if you have the masters). It's a good way to start out each fight. Debuffing never hurts. Without Tashiana and other debuffs Sonic Boom doesn't hit very hard.

<p>Manaward... isn't the ward only like 300 something? That's trivial imho. Try Thoughtsnap out if you ask me. <img src="/smilies/e8a506dc4ad763aca51bec4ca7dc8560.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> </p><p>Exur - 70 Coercer</p><p>Venekor</p>

You can keep it refreshed pretty much continuously. Against mobs that drain all your power in one go (like Pain or Suffering) is it useless, but against the trisected rumbler, the adds from the Farstride Unicorn, Wuoshi and Mayong, it can be real handy. I imagine in PvP it would be useful in protecting a group against the power drain of other enchanters.

My personal opinion is that for raiding and grouping, Thought Snap is the best of the lot, especially if you are in the MT or OT group. If you are not in a tank group, or your group includes a fighter who's specced for DPS, then it's a good way to get someone killed. It does seem to get resisted a fair amount, but it works often enough to consistently save that mage who keeps pulling agro. It's absolutely invaluable if you're in the offtank group for giving your tank a few seconds to take agro if the MT dies or you need to pick up adds fast, such as when the Rumbler splits or the Clockwork adds come. In heroic groups it's still very good if you only have one fighter in the group. Tash is nice for helping your opening debuffs stick, but doesn't last long enough to really make much of a DPS difference for the classes that benefit from it. I haven't tried manaward, mainly because of the laughably small amount it protects against. I might play with it in the future just for situations where your power gets nickel-and-dimed away as mentioned above. Coercive Healing is nice if you're usually in the MT group, but only if you don't have anywhere better to put your points.

In my opinion, every raid guild should have one coercer with thought snap/coercive healing and another with manaward/coercive healing. That way the two can be switched back and forth out of MT group depending on the mob being fought. As for Tashiana, it's good for pvp and not much else. Lastly, I use thought snap all the time (memwipe mobs, to keep a mob locked for life/manaburn, etc.); it rarely gets resisted after mobs are debuffed. ...........Schmutzen, Vox
