Worth it to turn combat XP off to bost skills?

Well the subject pretty much sums it up. I'm noticing that I'm leveling faster than my skills are going up and was wondering if the skills have enough impact to justify turning off combat XP to max them every couple of levels? Would appreciate any advise.

Don't worry, just keep leveling, eventually (by 20's at the latest probably) you'll be leveling far and away faster than your skills, I know at 30 I'm usually getting my skills maxed out by the time I'm 20% through each level.

<p>They will catch up to you, I can't remember not maxing the skills out each lvl.  Re1 is right, you'll slow down a bit in lvling by 20 and won't notice it.</p>

Thanks for the replies. I haven't played in awhile but decided to come back since I've read good things about the Neriak expansion. Just wanted to make sure it wouldn't be a pain for them to be behind now.

dont worry about them they will max out pretty quick <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> i only had a trouble when playing a trouby or dirge, both of their skills never got up high heh strangely <img src="/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

The only skill that seemed not to follow you unless you used it a lot was Subjugation.  That was one that I made sure to work on each level.  From what I understand, they've changed that one to level faster now.
