Any update on if these have been fixed yet? I noticed the effect now says "Powerfont will increase the damage of hostile spells by 10%" has anyone retested these boots? I am thinking of purchasing a pair if so.

The effect used to say "On the next damaging hostile spell, Powerfont will increase the damage by 10%" btw

I am referring to the testing done here http://forums.station.sony.com/eq2/...topic_id=355605

Haven't had any time to check parses and such, as i just got these yesterday. But we did Chel, FTH, and Clockwork, and i did notice the buff was up for the full duration, and didn't disappear when i casted my next hostile spell. I'll check more tonight.

Seems they are "working as intended".

The buff stays up for the entire duration, and every spell cast while up has a 10% boost to it's damage.

The buff does proc and stay up for the full 7 seconds. Currently they only seem to proc from spell attacks though, as opposed to all hostile spells. That is listed as a fix comming in the next LU.

The bigger problem however is that they don't actually add 10%. They get normalized just like the +spell dmg effects. So you won't see 10% on a dot, or 10% on an AE, and if you have AE DoTs then you really get hammered. For me they were still the best boots I have for the slot atm, but I really wish we could get some truth in advertising from SoE. An item should say what it does and do what it says. You should not need to constantly test your equipment to make sure its working correctly after each patch or perform complex mathmatic formulas to determine actual effect vs. stated effect.
