Playing evil in EOF ?

Hello, I Just bought EOF after a year without playing EQ2. My girlfriend and me want to start a new char in EOF, but we don't know if we can create evil races and start in EOF ? We want to play Necro and Summoner together, but i dont know if its possible... we dont want to start in different cities... So if not, we may try for a tank / healer duo, or maybe i could use some advices from you, what should we do to duo best ? You can't start there as an evil race/class but there aren't that many quests that an evil can't do. Stay away from the Fae on royal faction and you should be fine.  One platform in Kelethin and one camp in L.Fay are the only places I can think of offhand where you can't go.  I really doubt there are more than twenty quests you won't be able to do. You can easily and safely get a house in her name. The only issue for you would be a slight restriction in vendor locations unless evils can no longer use the nursery bank, royal faction and I would assume you would have to use the fence in G.Fay for the broker unless you didn't want to call back and then take 10 minutes to get back to G.Fay. Edit: I wouldn't let starting city location stop you from playing the classes you would both enjoy.  Travel in EQ2 is almost nonexistent.

Oh we can't create evil... so i think we will create characters with same faction. I read people talking about Neriak, did they create Neriak ? Can't we start there ?

We really want to explore EOF, so if we start in Neriak, when will we be able to go there ? Can you explain how ? Stand at the end of the docks and once every 5 mins or so a Boat arives to take players to Butcher Block Mountains a 20-35ish zone, you can go though BBM to get to Greater Faydwar, wich is basicly the Hub of all the other Faydwar(EoF) zones, though there are other paths, besides going though Gfay, to get to most zones.</p><p>The boat then travels to the edge of the zone map then loads you into the Boat path to the BBM Docks. Your First time in BBM look up because you can accually get on top of most if not all those cliffs overlooking the dock area.</p><p>I also would sugjest trying out an Arasai(if you want to start in Neriak) because just like Fae they have a native Slow Fall(kinda like a Parashoot) that lets you jump from anywhere and slowly fall safly to the ground. They also at the x0 lvls get the opertunity to select Glide as a Racial Trait wich lets you basicly jump in a strait line about 10ft or so(depending on runspeed buffs as you accually "Glide" for a few seconds and if you move faster you glide farther), befor you start to slow fall. This is really handy to get to areas that others can not.</p>

Thanks ! <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />   </blockquote>either way you will still be exploring EoF because its probably the best/most fun place to level up. its kind of far but all you need to do is go to the Dark Bargainers in Neriak and they have paid teleporters set up to take you to thundering steppes or Nektulos where you can make your way to the docks and take a boat to Butcherblock Mountains, low level area is Gfay but by the time you are through with the Neriak starting area Darklight (which i highly suggest the quests are fun) youll be ready for Butcherblock.
