<p>Hey all,</p><p>I am having an issue with my ASUS ATI EAX550/GE video card lagging and then crashing. My machine has the following stats:</p><p>Compaq Presario</p><p>3.3Mhz dual core HT </p><p>1 GBytes sdram</p><p>Cable high speed</p><p>And of course the above video card with 256 MB in an express PCI slot</p><p>Here is what happens, and mainly I am wondering if anyone else has theis problem, I will be going thru Qeynos Harbour, a pretty laggy place any way, when I start to lag as everything is loading my hard drive is whirling like made when I suddenly freeze. Scrren will go black and then come back then black out again and then let me move 3 steps then black screen then reboot. The catalyst control center tells me theat the card has stopped responding to the driver. I have uninstalled then re installed the drivers, installed asus drivers and soft ware. It usually happens in trhe same places, around the dwarf on just past the opening to the docks and on the bridge coming away from the clock to the dock area. I expect there would be some lag, but re booting is not good. I had it happen twice in the caves. Anyone else seeing this? Any suggestions on a solution? I know it is the card but I am working on that end first just wanted to know if I was alone in this.</p>
