New to ranger class. Rolling on a pvp server any advice would be nice.

Hello everybody =D! I'm not new to the game just the ranger class, after taking a huge break from EQ II, I've decided to return and roll a ranger! woot! I've decided to roll a wood elf ranger on the pvp server nagafen, and I have a few questions, How are rangers overall for PvP, PvE, Raiding, and so forth, also, what is a good AA pvp build to ensure the highest rate of survivial and if need to kill people in a efficiant matter. Also is there anything I should know about playing ranger that could be helpful? Anything at all is welcome, thanks a lot for your time. =D

learn to kite with the ranger is important .. time your stun(s), root, snares right etc.
