All - some advice required please. I would like to spec my templar with the best healer AA setup I can use. Don't care about DPS or any such. Just healing.

I have about 10 points available to sped, having saved them all up so far. I am a level 17 templar.

What's the advice? I notice there are some "Cures" AAs, and I seem to spend half of my time curing...

Or is the old KoS INT line the best?

Thanks!

I wouldn't put any points into the cures. I tried them with much hope and even now that they work I was sorely disappointed. They do very little for the amount of points you put into them is my opinion.

I'd suggest that the KOS Intelligence line is the best all around.

So the KOS intelligence line huh? Willing to give that a shot. One final thing, via the EoF tree I could put points into improving my blessings, like Mark of Pawns. I jost got this spell (at 1, so is this worth considering to improve my healing output?

Almost every templar has gone down The INT (KoS) line - for fast casting of your heals, some extra DPS, and divine recovery - VERY handy in an emergency. The Blessings (EoF) line - especially as a raid cleric, Mark/Involuntary are very useful, as is the stoneskin. Blessings as a spell is truly amazing. Those two lines would be the first to go down as a healing templar.

agree the number of times end spell of int line has saved a wipe from bad pull or unlucky /respawn

has been significant esp in places like unrest with an aoe [Removed for Content] sk.

blessings is soo useful esp if biased with melee group, scouts worship at my feet, and bring pie

although i have seen alot of temps go down the undead line. tbh I heal 1st debuff second and then worry about dps if theres time

I've gone int/sta end line in both are imo awesome, just depends on play style

I'd like the STA line a lot better if you didn't have to wade through a bunch of crap to get to the heal crits.

That "other crap" works for my playstyle. To each their own.

Most Templars I know go for the STA/INT lines for the cleric tree, INT for faster casting speeds and Divine Recovery, STA line for 100% mele crit and increased Heal Crit. I've heard very few arguments against these lines as a Templar. Both have their benifits so it's hard to say which you should go for first. If you feel that you just can't get the spell off fast enough to keep the tank up INT line would be best, if you feel that for now your casting speed is fine go for the STA line and get the increased Heal Crit. For the Templar AA's it seems everyone goes Blessings, but after that it's fairly open. Some go for nukes, others go for Cures/Sanc. Either way the 2nd half of the Templar tree should be the last one to work on so you'll have time to decide where you want to go with it. Between STA line, INT line, or Blessings line, it's up to you which you want to do. My suggestion would be to look at all the abilities in each line and decide which you feel you would get the most use from and take that line first, then go on to the next most useful line, ect.

Most certainly do go Int/Sta (I've only seen one other Templar with the Protector title). But Agility is still there, and has been improved. I'll be heading back to Agi/Int once respecs come down again (I was playing around with a more solo/dpsy build recently).

This is for raiding AA's only. I have no clue what I would do if I didn't raid.
