Broodling Particle Effects

<p>Is there a way to turn it off?  They have a black fire look about them that really lags me out in raids.  Normally I wouldn't care but the server lag has increased the past few LU.  Four sets of broodlings can cause my spell lag to increase from 1 second to 4 seconds per cast.</p><p>Also, is there a way to turn off other spell's particles?  Some show such as life burn or mezzes.  Really irritating.</p><p>And a request.  Please have a toggle option for dumb fire pets.  I don't enjoy seeing an army of pets during a raid.</p>

turn down the amount of particles in your graphics settings

It's set to 0 with particles set to minimum.  Render distance for particle sizes are at the lowest they can be.
