What the heck is this... cant place books on it =( Useless junk! <img src="http://i53.photobucket.com/albums/g69/Arctura000/Nobookforyou.jpg" border="0"> Can someone fix the <b>Briarwood Bookcase</b>? its probably an easy fix and fell through the cracks. <img src="http://eq2.eqtraders.com/images/articles/briarwood_bookcase.jpg" border="0"> thanks again! <img src="http://i53.photobucket.com/albums/g69/Arctura000/DarkShadow2ONEXX.gif" border="0">

(( i thought it was just a matter of selecting certain poly-faces as 'placeable' or something, in a similar way that (for example) in the Unreal Editor, we would select surfaces and declare them 'walkable' which would allow players to plant floor-mines, etc on them, or those surfaces show up as floors in the planning stages for maps etc. ... but i guess its a mesh not a piece of bsp geometry so its different <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

I remember long ago doing a quest in enchanted lands that rewarded me with a bookcase like that. I was also sad when i placed it in my home to find out i also could not use it for anything but looks. I keep it there to this day for that one ONLY reason though.

<p>I've got a couple of those quested bookcases with that graphic. I have got ornaments on the shelves. It merely involved placing the ornaments on something (chair, shelf, whatever), placing them so that they lined up with the bookcase's shelves, then removing the (chair, shelf, thingummy) and moving the bookcase into place to appear to support the now floating ornaments.  </p><p>Bit of a chore, but so many things in the game are eh. </p>
