Darathar, 55ish, epic x4, Isle of Refuge. Spawns at the end of the quest 'Fire and Ice' in Permafrost to take the Prismatic egg, and then spawns again in a special instance of the IoR to finish the quest 'Deception'.

I don't think there are many, if anyone, can take him solo. I highly doubt it. Vox can kill a 70th in about 4 hits, and she's not nearly as bad as he is. You could probably take all the trash out by yourself. <img src="/smilies/283a16da79f3aa23fe1025c96295f04f.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

<p>Isn't Darathar the contested dragon that spawns in Cazic-Thule occassionally as well as the dragon in one of the early EQ][ trailers (also in CT)?</p><p>He is wicked, definitely, and has an awesome breath weapon that is worth dying for just to see it used. I've only fought him once, with a pickup raid, and his breath attack really is like that -- it is a powerful poison-based DoT that turns you into a skeleton!

pfft that ven dragon and his stone friend are pathetic. Ive killed the dragon with 2 grps while the other 2 grps took on the stone man. Both dead easily enough. With 4 grps on that dragon my guess is it would drop in a few mins
