Updating game since 2005.

I know there has more than likely been many patches and fixes. However I am showing 8 hours 54 minutes left on the updating screen. I am running a very nice connection as I Work for my Cable provider <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> </p><p>I guess my question would be. Can I speed this up? "Rub it with Cheetah blood or something?" </p><p>Are their Alternate site mirrors where I can download the updates faster? There are no alternate download or mirror sites that I am aware of atm. By the time that I could upload what I have to usenet and then for you to download it, you may as well just keep your current download going until it finishes. BTW, yes - there has been a TON of updates since 2005.

If you work for comcast, get some of the liquid silver superspeed.  That might help. That or copy your friends current EQ2 directory to yours
