Why doesn´t rare loam drop of chests?

<p>Hi <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p><p> All rares drop of Chests, rare gems, rare wood, rare roots and so on, but why not the rare loams?</p><p>At least 50% of all classes(all fighters and all scouts) need rare loam for their adept 3 spells, but its the only rare which doesnt drop of chests. The effect is there are always just a few rare loams in highler lvls in broker for very high prices. On Valor u pay about 50 Goldpieces for Vanadium or a rough pearl, but over 2(!)PLATINUM for rare loam.</p><p>So the classes with the highest costs(for weapons and armor) have to pay 4times more than a mage or priest for an adept 3 spell.</p><p>If rare loam would drop of chests there would be plenty more rare loams and the prices would fall. Pls think about it.</p>

<p>Spongy loams (tier7) drop in chests. The lower levels need the loams added, though. I've never seen a loam aside from spongy drop from a mob.</p>

Why? The loot tables for those monsters were made when rare loams didn't exist. They probably haven't updated the loot tables since then. Othesus - Dirge - Lucan DLere Vaspar - Fury - Lucan DLere

We did Courts of Al'Afaz last night, and we had at least half a dozen each of vanadium, pearl, pelt, root and cobalt drop. No loam.
