Has anyone ever actually been saved by Divine Favor? I've made an honest effort to try and give this spell a chance, but all it seems to do is delay the inevitable. From what I've seen the issue isn't that it doesn't heal enough, the issue is it totally screws the rest of your group/raid. First, when you die you take a huge loss in agro, and then you're stifled for 12 seconds so you can't even attempt to regain that lost agro through Rescue or Sigil. So not only does the mob lose interest in you, it takes an interest in the poor priest who threw a major heal on you and kills them, with you unable to do anything about it.

I think the deaggro component has already been removed. The only problem I see with it is the dazed and stifle that last for 12 second. If they remove the dazed and stifle component then this spell would at least be useful in some way.

In PVP other classes that has death save that actually saves them and give them a chance. but paladin death save in PVP only revive you so you can watch yourself die again.

My response is only with divine favor toward PVP.

Cakassia, that's the problem. Even if divine favor does everything it is supposed to, it is more harmful to the raid than helpful. If you keep agro, then sometime soon, you are going to lose it anyway, and the healers still have you targeted because you are the tank, and you are still alive. In more practical terms, if the spell doesn't do anything bad to the raid, then the net effect of this spell is to double your armor damage when you die. Frankly, I don't see how anyone can sit through that 12 second stiffle during a real fight, and ever use Divine Favor again.

Divine Favor as it is right now is a completely useless spell. like many said in other sthreads, it should be a instant ward for some serious damage but what it is now is crap.
