How many more times do you plan asking the same question? Play what you like, you've already been told multiple times how desirable each is in raids.

Sks and Rangers are highly sought-after, until everybody knows that the best raidforces just use 10 SKs 10 Rangers and 4 Healers

You need to get out more if you arent sure about a rangers DPS. More important then that, you really shouldnt be trying to give someone some advice on what class to play when you dont really understand any of the mechanics behind the classes.

To the OP: Rangers and Wizzys are a dime a dozen (I believed that someone mentioned that fact about wizards already, but it applys to both). People tend to flux back and forth with the "top" teir dps class per that expansion, and almost never is the top class, top come the next expansion. So if you wanted straight up hard core DPS, then a ranger would be your best bet, IF you have the money, or the resources to properly gear out that ranger. Otherwise, dont bother. Its will probably be extremely expensive for the Wizard as well, due to the popularity of the class. Again, for the most part, a straight damage class. Which can easily be replaced next tier by the next hard hitting DPS class to come out on top. As for the SK, SKs are tricky to play properly. They can be good tanks and good dps, but that requires alot of gear swapping. Will you be able to make more raids as an SK? Probably not. Theres really very little justification these days to run 3 plate tanks on a raid. Unless theres an opening for an MA, your SK will probably only be going on pickup raids.

None of these choices are really "great choices" for trying to get into a raid guild with a needed class. Rogues, Bards, Chanters are your most solid choices. In the end, if you insist on playing one of those classes, it had better be a class you enjoy, because many a ranger/sk can tell you, it was pretty lonely for them in KoS raid wise. Just remember, all DPS classes are expendable.
