House Do'Kenval medallion, what is it and what can you do with it?

I got it from a quest I did in I think Darklight Woods or the city Neriak itself. I'm not sure what I must do with this item. It isn't a house item it isn't clickable to get  another quest. so what is it? And what can I do with it?
