Tips on DPSing in groups for a new Assassin.

Hey, I just started an assassin alt. My main is a ranger and I'm really digging playing an assassin. My assassin is currently level 27. I have some questions if you would all be so kind as to answer them. What should I be doing to maximize my DPS in groups? Playing an assassin is very different from a ranger. So I'm curious about what people's rotation is. Any help would be nice. I'm only parsing like 89 zonewide currently and I'm not sure if that's good or not. I managed to parse over 100 quite often once I got a decent rotation down but any help would be nice. Thanks.

Get high str. Get your skills up to adept3 or better. Start in stealth and use your AOEs to begin the fights, then use your dots, and your backstabs. Practice getting in position and getting behind the tank's target.

<p>Also look how the MT moves, if he usually turns the mob or not.</p><p>Coordination with the MT is very important to go at once behind the mob, where you can use our best attacks.</p><p> Use the rares you find harvesting to get the most important AD3, but don't waste cash in buying AD3 or masters at your lvl, they got replaced by upgrades very quickly, save cash for the time you will be 57 and over for the definitive (at least till Kunark) CAs.</p><p> Spend your aa points in the str line (4-4-4-8 ), the crit chance is very important.</p>
