New LFG system needed for PVP (SOE owns the best LFG in MMORP history)

<p>Planetside has the best LFG system I have ever seen and SOE owns it.  The EQ2 team only seems to be focusing on content, expansions and of course the needed exploit nerfing and bug fixes.  And what a great job they are doing.  I understand that content is the thing that keeps the players happy on the PVE servers.  Unfortunatly, soloing on a PVP server can be annoying to say the least.  An I know about 6 players personaly and 2 of them have perminently left the game because of the broken LFG system in PVP.  If this is any indication of the % of lost income from subscriptions canceled I would have made the LFG revamp a high priority.  Even 5% is significant amount of any market share.</p><p>I know you cant just cut and paste code to fit a different game but the lack of a solid LFG system is hurting SOE subscription renewals.  Content will not keep people interested if they cant get to it because they can't get a group.</p><p> Can I get a vote on this from players?  </p>

<p>I have been AFG Away From Game for a few months.  I will have to check it out.  Thanks for the info.  I look forward to eating some crow if this new LFG is any good.</p>

<p>I haven't fully explored the new LFG tool, but it seems to me it perhaps has a major problem. I didn't go back and confirm this, but is seems that we now have two parallel LFG tools.</p><p>If I go LFG using the new tool, I don't show up on the old tool. And the old tool is still the default tool that people are directed to use - they have to click a button to look at those LFG using the new tool.</p><p>It seems a bit counterproductive to me. The last thing you want to do is dilute the people who are LFG into two seperate systems. The new tool looks good. Get rid of the old tool.</p>
