LOL...

In all seriousness, I went with the WIS line to the final ability, the INT line 4-4-8, and split the remaining measly 9 points between STR and STA just to get a little boost in both. Really, Monks solo well with almost any standard AA build, including the str/int/wis 4-4-8. I solo'ed mine successfully to 55 before I ever bought KoS/EoF and started earning AAs, so the AAs are not really defining one way or another for soloing. (not defining being the pc way of saying our AAs are somewhat lackluster)

I chain kill silly bruisers.... If she mainly solos and wants to solo nameds.... I would suggest INT 4/4/8/6/1 - gives mini root, criticals, defensive boost and last skill is awesome for soloers e.g. tier 3 +500 mitigation and +75% criticals if health <30%. I then went Sta 4/4/8.....for throwing CA and proc dmg. By this stage she should have enough of an idea about the class to pick her own AA This combo is great for a named soloer, Get Mastercrafted imbued and adorned fist weapons and your DPS will be sweet, especially when u are heavily damaged. Don't use your heal until heal is very low, i.e. to keep that +75% going as long as possible. Other tip is to get the stamina(?) hex doll - if thats the one that debuffs mitigation - then she can clear adds, pull the named with a hex and go nuts......

If she isn't raiding and getting Fabled weapons, then STR line and INT line are the best bets. Going unarmed in the STR line will give you better damage than virtually all non-Fabled weapons across all levels, and the last ability in the INT line is great for soloing. Let your HP drop below 30% then hit Tsunami and Ward and rip the mob apart. Save the Heal for when Tsunami drops and you can pop back to 60-70% health.

Your +22 DPS buff and my +22 Haste buff makes for a happy situation... especially since getting in the group with the dirge is right out of the question for monks any more

I would recommend the Intelligence and Stamina lines, I just respeced Mitsukai my monk to these, mainly cause I've been gone a year and you get forced to, lol.

I recommend getting the final abilities from both lines and putting additional points into Stamina, pretty much everything else was spread between critical hits, and any defensive boost, I'd write the stats down but I don't keep everything on the top of my head, just on paper.

I was originally speced Int/Wis and while it was nice, it could be problamatic when tanking with certain types of groups.

As for the monk tree I'm looking at Body as my primary focus.

Many thanks all, I respecced her to to sta/int as she has fabled weapons, also body line in monk tree (she has 75 aas at this moment). One question, is Heal (level 48 spell) the last healing spell you get? couldnt find anything better. Thanks again for your answers.

Yeah Heal it the last one because they do it percentage wise, also it goes grey on you near 65 or 66 still it is a useful ability. Maybe they will make it white again with the new level cap. perhaps they will make the downtime a lot less between Heal's.

Defensive AAs are limited anyway in the brawler tree. Go 448 STA STR INT and use bare fists. This will give you the best DPS set up. Once she hits 70 it's a different story, come back when that happens and ask again.

"it just wouldn't be fair to hate on anyone else.... i mean.... what am i supposed to go fight bards or something?

wait a second!

nope... its clearly monks. you pansy monks will never win!
